Ecocides

The title describes a turning point, a new reality that sadly defines our time. Ecocides speaks of the degradation of the environment and natural resources as a result of human activity and its impact on ecosystems. There are countless examples of the destructive consequences of our toxic ways of life, which endanger not only the health of the planet but also our social fabric.
The circular format represents the globe, the globalised world and the earth, the shared territory that speaks in our name: I’m choking, it’s cold, I’m thirsty, I’m suffering, I bite, I die. The final circle sums up the series with a clock whose hours are marked in red, signalling a time that will not wait. Each sequence leaves signs along the way until it reaches its fatal outcome: our planet is in mortal danger and we are responsible. Or perhaps this could be the beginning of something, if we accept that we are both victims and perpetrators, but also the root of the solution.
